The reason Juan created this Blog is because he wanted to connect with, meet and network with other like minded people. Also, to update friends with lates mixes and gigs. Juan Martinez is Up Beat, innovative, and a crowd rocker. Juan Martinez is a veteran behind the decks, started DJing in 1998. He has a unique background in house, electro, deep house and hip-hop. Through hard work I’ve crafted a very versatile mixing style. Born in the Bay Area CA, Juan grew up loving music. Juan grew up listing to hip-hop oldies and freestyle. Later the San Francisco parties influenced Juan. I was inspired from some of the worlds best DJs. For example, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Greg Lopez, and many more. Juan has always preferred an emotional connection with the audience. As for Juan, house music is a way of life; it’s an experience that moves the soul. Juan has a tour scheduled with some of the most respected DJs in the industry and I also have a new CD releasing in 2009. Also expect new releases from Juan's label LiveBPM Records.
