DJ Tutorial this is a good video to learn how to scratch. The thing with scratching is that it takes time and practice. However, once you get it down you can do amazing things with the change of pitch.
DJ Q-Burt is a pioneer when it comes to the scratching movement. I remember when I first got started in DJing, I would go to underground parties and Dj battles. I have never seen anyone do the things Q-Burt does with records, turntables, and a mixer. The only other person who made my mouth drop has to be A-Trax from Canada.
DJ A- Trax and DJ Craze at LAX
The first time I saw DJ A-Trax was several years ago at an Underground party in Oakland (Rave). He had to be at least 16 yrs old or even younger. A- Trax was there with his mother. I remember walking in the room were he was playing, he had just set up his own mixer and he looked like he was scared. But once he got in his comfort zone there was no stopping him. He had that whole room in Aww!! Once A-Trax finished his set the mob wanted more chanting his name.
Once you can get enough practice in you can do this.
