The Black Eyed Peas are set to release their new album, The END, in March of this year. So what does the END mean? Is it the End of their group, end of the world or the end to nothing. Well, according to the front man of the group Will.I.Am END just stand for "The Energy Never Dies," which I truly believe.
However, Will.I.Am does believe their is an End to albums. What exactly is an album? According to Will.I. he is trying to break away from the concept of an album. "What is an album when you put 12 songs on iTunes and people can pick at it like scabs? That's not an album. There is no album anymore."
Ever Since Furgee joined the group their sound has chenged. Black Eyed Peas plays more upbeat dance hits that cater more to the clubs. Furthermore, 'The END' is going to be more dance stuff, melodic, with a touch of electronic. Black Eyed Peas calles it Electric static funk. I like how that flows.
Black Eyed Peas first single is called "Boom Boom Pow." In addition they have tours scheduled until June to promote the new album.
